The ticking is woven from wool, silk, and viscose to favor breathability and softness, conditioning the microclimate at contact. The upholstery progresses in layers for enduring comfort: resilient British fleece wool for moisture management, followed by the long, crimped Horsetail to resist compression, then Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a softer transition. A core blend of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton adds body and absorptive capacity, while a two-layer hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system with 3,296 springs in a King size allows independent response to weight and movement. The border is finished with coir and wool and reinforced by four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the usable sleep surface, with woollen tufts and twine compressing the layers into a stable depth at every tuft point.
